Our suites have a mixture of screens and glass, keeping bugs out, but allowing the natural air and sounds of the rainforest in. Designed with sustainable materials and generous, airy layouts, each suite blends barefoot luxury with the soothing rhythms and sounds of nature—where morning light filters through the treetops, wildlife passes right by your private terrace, and the Golfo Dulce glimmers in the distance. Cielo Lodge has 6 one-bedroom canopy suites that sleep up to 4 people, for a maximum occupancy of 12-24 guests.
We offer three distinctive rate plans:
Bed and breakfast - rates starting at $276 per night, double occupancy ($138 per person)
Full board - which includes 3 meals a day + transportation between Golfito airport and Cielo Lodge - rates starting at $542 per night, double occupancy ($271 per person)
Our Simply Cielo Package - which includes 3 meals a day, a variety of ocean and rainforest activities with a certified naturalist, and all local transportation between Golfito and Cielo Lodge - rates starting at $1,064 per night, double occupancy ($532 per person)

Designed for adventurers who want to travel within their own “bubble”, our Rainforest Sanctuary Buyout Package enables your small group of friends and family to take over Cielo Lodge in its entirety. All 6 canopy suites, all of our grounds, all activities - everything that Cielo Lodge offers - will be your “pod’s” personal playground, with a pricing package that gives you six suites for the price of five.
Offered for a minimum of 4 nights for up to 24 people, our Rainforest Sanctuary Buyout package offers a truly personalized, exclusive rainforest experience that can include customized programs that cater to your group’s interests. Yoga, wellness, agri-tourism, environmental programs, and experiences with indigenous communities are just a few examples of the type of immersive programs we can offer.

We offer different rate plans with different inclusions. Please review your reservation confirmation to make sure you booked the one that is right for you.
The front desk is open from 7:00 AM. to 10:00 PM. CST
Rates listed do NOT include the 13% Costa Rican Hotel Tax. This tax will be added at the time of booking.
We have a 30 day cancellation policy. There’s no penalty for reservations cancelled 30+ days in advance. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival will be non-refundable. Cancellation requests must be received in writing to reservations@cielolodge.com or made directly on our website.
No-Show, unused room nights, and/or early check-outs are not refundable. Late bookings made within 30 days of arrival are not refundable. For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance. We have partnered with Global Rescue and Signature Travel, which together, provide ONE comprehensive policy that will give you peace of mind for any travel issue or emergency - missed flights, missing baggage, and even medical emergencies and evacuations. We also can give you full credit if you decide to come at a later date.
