The flat rate (starting at $4,200 per night) includes:

Offered for a minimum of 4 nights for up to 24 people, our Rainforest Sanctuary Buyout package offers a truly personalized, exclusive rainforest experience. Starting at a flat rate of $4,200 (2023 green season rate, for the first 12 guests), this package includes all meals, many activities, and local transportation. You’ll enjoy the service of a full staff, ensuring that you can truly settle into your vacation without having to think about cooking, cleaning, driving or organizing.
And yes! We can do weddings, retreats and other special events.

Rates and the Details
Our rate for the Rainforest Sanctuary Buyout package is a lump sum rate for the first 12 guests and then it is per person, per day for any additional guests (at a 50% discount). There is a four night minimum stay for the Buyout Package, with a 35% discount given for each additional night. For the non-holiday season, this package gives you 6 suites for the price of 5 suites, and the rates are in-line with the Wall Street Journal article.
ALL rates include: 3 locally-sourced, seasonal, superlative meals a day, snacks, transportation to and from Golfito Airport, and all of the included activities that are listed on the Activity page.
Rates do not include alcohol.
Our front desk is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and daily housekeeping is included in all rates.
Rates listed do NOT include the 13% Costa Rican Hotel Tax. This tax will be added at the time of booking.
We are closed from October 1 - November 14.
We have a 30 day cancellation policy for Green and High Seasons, and a 60 day cancellation policy for the Holiday season.
Here is the specific language:
Cancellation requests must be received in writing to reservations@cielolodge.com 31 days ( 61 days for Holiday season) prior to arrival to avoid any penalties. Cancellations made 31 days (61 days for Holiday season) or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the 25% deposit less the $200 non-refundable portion of the deposit. Cancellations made between 30 and 0 days (or 60 and 0 days for Holiday Season) prior to arrival are not refundable.
No-Show, unused room nights, and/or early check-outs are not refundable. Late bookings made within 30 days of arrival (60 days for Holiday Season) are not refundable once the credit card has been charged. For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance. Companies such as Travelex, Allianz, and American Express are all reputable companies.
We also can give you full credit if you decide to come at a later date.
